Meet Our Missionaries

Robert and Jay Latreille have been married for 25 years and are proud parents of their son, Luke, who currently serves in the Army. Their journey into missions began while working at Oak Hills Church—Robert in the Facilities Department and Jay in Children’s Ministry. During this time, they took the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement class, which ignited their passion for global missions. They later facilitated Perspectives classes and eventually served as missionaries in Cebu, Philippines, through Commission To Every Nation (CTEN), mobilizing local churches for five years.

Ministry Work

After their time in the Philippines, Robert and Jay were invited to join the CTEN home office in Kerrville, TX, where they now serve as Directors. Robert, as Director of Operations, oversees IT, website management, facilities maintenance, and collaborates with the Global Security Consultant to ensure missionary safety. Jay, as Director of Administration, leads the Publications and Administrative teams and organizes quarterly orientations for new CTEN missionaries. Together, they also provide pastoral care for missionaries in Japan, supporting and encouraging them in their ministry. Their mission is centered on “Helping ordinary people partner with God to accomplish the extraordinary.”

Prayer Requests

• Thanksgiving for God’s protection over their son, Luke, as he serves in the Army.
• Robert and Jay’s upcoming trip to the Philippines (Feb 1–March 15), as they visit 10 CTEN missionaries and Jay’s 85-year-old mother, who is church planting in Bantayan Island, Cebu.
• A fruitful visit, that the missionaries will be deeply encouraged and strengthened in their work.
