Visit Rightnow Media About the Series - The Spirit of Christmas: How One Gift Changed the World The spirit of Christmas is defined by generosity. Two thousand years ago, God, at great cost to himself, gave the greatest gift when he gave the gift of Immanuel – God with us. And because of God’s radical generosity in giving his only son – to live and to die for our sins - we now can also be the giver of good gifts. We have the Holy Spirit working out generosity through us. The joy of giving is beating in our hearts and flowing through our veins. No other season captures radical generosity like the Christmas season. It’s a time when we both share with others the joy and hope that comes from Immanuel and experiencing it for ourselves. At Christmas, generosity flows to us, and through us. This is radical generosity. This is the spirit of Christmas. There are currently no recommended items.
